Discount Card Creation
Creating a Discount card in LoyaltyMaster involves several steps. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough of each section of the process.
Step 1: Login and Access the Cards Module
After a successful login, navigate to the left-hand menu. From the list of modules, click the 'Cards' icon to open the Cards module.
Step 2: Creating a Card From Scratch
In the Cards module, you can create a card using a pre-loaded template or create one from scratch. To create a card from scratch, click the 'From Scratch' button. This initiates the Discount card creation workflow.
The card creation process consists of 5 sections:
- Card Type
- Settings
- Design
- Information
- Save and preview
Let's explore each section in detail.
Card Type
- This section lets you choose the type of card you want to create. Since we're creating a Discount card, select 'Discount' from the available card types.
- After selecting, click the 'Continue' button to move to the 'Settings' section.
Settings
This section allows you to customize the settings for your Discount card.
- Choose the language for the card using the 'Language' dropdown.
- Set the card's expiration date using the radio buttons under 'Card Expiration Date'. It's recommended to select 'Fixed term after card issuing', and then specify the number of days until the card expires after issuance.
- Set the location(s) where the card can be used in the 'Locations' field.
- Under the 'Cardholder Status' heading, create a tier-wise segregation for the customers and offer discount percentages based on their spending. Use the 'Tier Name', 'Spend to Achieve', and 'Percentage %' fields to define the tier type, required spending to achieve the tier, and the discount percentage offered for that tier, respectively. To create an additional tier, click the 'Add Tier' button.
- Define the fields you want to include on the card under the 'Card Issuing Form' heading. Use the 'Field Type' dropdown to select the type of field you are adding, and enter the field's name in the 'Field Name' text field. Enable the 'Required' or 'Unique' toggles as needed. To add a new field, click the 'Add Field' button.
- Under the UTM field, create a channel link for analytics tracking of traffic generated by that channel. Record the fields name in 'Source Name', then click 'Add a link with UTM Tag'.
- Select the region for communication calls using the 'Phone Mask' dropdown.
- Enable or disable the 'Privacy Policy toggle as needed. If enabled, enter the privacy policy in the field provided.
- If you need customer consent regarding the processing of their personal data, enable the 'Consent to the processing of personal data' toggle.
- For customized analytics generation, paste your script into the 'Analytics' textbox.
- Click 'Continue' to move to the 'Design' section.
Design
This section allows you to set the design of the Discount card.
- Click the 'Select File' button from the 'Logo' heading to choose a logo to be displayed on the card and on the release form from your system storage.
- Similarly, click the 'Select File' button from the 'Icon' heading to choose an icon from your system storage to be displayed in the push messages.
- Choose an icon from your system storage for the centre of the card by clicking the 'Select File' button under the 'Background of the central part' heading.
- Use the colour pickers for 'Card Background', 'Text Color', and 'Background colour of the centre part' to customize the colours of your card.
- Configure the fields you want to display on the card under the 'Fields Name' heading. Use the 'Field' dropdown and 'Field Name' fields.
- Enable or disable the 'Show logo at the card issuing form' and 'Show background colour on the card issuing form' toggles as needed.
- Click 'Continue' to move to the 'Information' section.
Information
This section lets you fill in the required information on the card.
- Enter a brief description of the card using the 'Card Description' field.
- Use the 'Company Name' field to enter your business name.
- Enable or disable the 'Referral Program' as desired.
- Use the 'Type', 'Link', and 'Text' fields to add active links on the card. To add an additional link, click the 'Add Link' button.
- Select a service from the 'Service' dropdown under 'Feedback links', then provide the relevant URL in the adjacent field to collect customer feedback. To add additional feedback links, click the 'Add Link' button.
- Enable the 'Terms of Use toggle and enter the terms of use in the field provided.
- Enter the link to your full T&Cs in the 'Link to full terms and conditions field.
- Fill out the 'Company Name', 'Email', and 'Contact Number' fields under 'Issuer Information' to provide the card issuer's information.
- Click 'Activate' to activate the template, then 'Finish' to move to the 'Save & Preview' section.
Save & Preview
This section allows you to preview, activate, and share the card.
- A preview of the template will be displayed.
- Scan the QR code at the top of this preview.
- Click 'Copy Link' to copy the card's link.
- Click 'Activate Card' to activate the card.
