# Share your card: link, QR code and printable PDF

Copy your card's install link, download a printable PDF with its QR code, and add a tracked link for each channel, so customers can install your card.

Customers can install your card from a link you send them or from a printed QR code in your shop.

## Before you start

- Your card is activated. Before activation, no more than 10 cards can be issued.
- 'Allow the card to be installed via a shared link' is on in the card's Settings. If it's off, the shared link won't install the card, but personal links still work.

## Steps

### Step 1

In the left sidebar, open **Cards**.

In the app: 'Cards'

### Step 2

Click **Open** on your card to reach its **Information** tab.

In the app: 'Open' → 'Information'

### Step 3

In the link field, click **copy**. Paste the link wherever your customers are: a message, an email, a social post or your website.

In the app: 'copy'

> Customers who open the link see the install form for your card.

### Step 4

Click **Download PDF**. You get an A4 promo with your card's install QR code. Print it and put it up in your shop.

In the app: 'Download PDF'

### Step 5

Next to **Download PDF**, click **Download marketing kit** for more promo material.

In the app: 'Download marketing kit'

### Step 6

Optional: to see which channel brings installs, give each channel its own link. In the **UTM** section, click **Add a link with a UTM tag**.

In the app: 'UTM' → 'Add a link with a UTM tag'

### Step 7

Enter a **Source name**, for example 'Instagram', and use that link in that channel only.

In the app: 'Source name'

> A UTM link can have its own welcome stamps or points and its own expiry. Its welcome amount takes precedence over the card's own.

## What you should see

Customers who open your link or scan the QR code from the PDF see the install form, with 'Install in Apple Wallet' or 'Install in Google Wallet'. The card's 'Form Visits' tab shows how many people opened the form and how many finished installing, and each install appears under 'Last transactions' as 'Card installed'.

## If something goes wrong

### No more than 10 customers can get the card

**Likely cause:** The card isn't activated yet. Until you activate it, no more than 10 cards can be issued.

Activate the card. Check the settings that lock first: see [Activate your card and know what locks](/cards-creation/activate-your-card).

### The shared link doesn't let customers install the card

**Likely cause:** 'Allow the card to be installed via a shared link' is off for this card. Personal links still work, but the shared link doesn't.

Open the card's editor (**Edit**), go to **Settings** and, under **Card installation via shared link**, turn on **Allow the card to be installed via a shared link**.

### Customers scan a QR code but don't get the install form

**Likely cause:** They may have scanned the barcode on the card preview. That is the card's own barcode, which staff scan at the counter.

Print the QR code from **Download PDF** instead. That one opens the install form.

### An iPhone customer sees 'Please open this page in your Safari browser. The card can only be issued in Safari.'

**Likely cause:** They opened the link in another browser, often the built-in browser of a social or chat app.

Ask them to open the same link in Safari.

## Need a person?

Where you share your card, and any welcome stamps or points on a UTM link, are your decisions. An AI agent can copy the link or download the PDF, but it should ask you before posting the link or sending it to customers, and before clicking 'Activate'. Printing the QR code and putting it up in your shop needs a person. If anything here doesn't match what you see, contact our support team at any time and we'll help.
